Yu Fei was born in April 1989. A professor at Nanjing Normal University and the leader of an independent research group (PI). In 2015, he completed his master's degree from Guangxi Normal University under the guidance of Professor Zeng Minghua. In 2018, he received his Ph.D from Nanjing University under the tutelage of Professor Zuo Jinglin. He was a postdoctoral research fellow at Nanyang Technological University from 2018-2022, and his co-tutors were Professor Zhang Qichun and Professor Lee Pooi See. In October 2022, he entered the School of Chemistry and Materials Science of Nanjing Normal University to conduct independent research. His research interests include intelligent crystalline materials, photo/electrocatalytic materials, artificial muscles/soft robots, and computational chemistry. Our research group's goal is to study crystalline materials, nanotechnology and its potential applications. In recent years, 44 SCI academic papers have been published in internationally renowned chemical journals, among which 13 papers have been published as the first author, including Nat. Commun. (2 papers), Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (3 papers) and Chem. Sci. (1 article) and so on.
