Abstract

Cys2/His2-type Zinc Finger Proteins (C2H2-ZFPs) are known to play vital roles in the regulation of growth and development in plants. Nevertheless, the underlying molecular network is yet to be established. In this review paper, we elaborate on the structure, classification and biological functions of C2H2-ZFPs, and focus on the molecular mechanism of C2H2-ZFPs in regulating plant growth and development, to provide theoretical support for crop cultivation and breeding.
