ABSTRACT

The present study aimed to examine the effect of serious leisure on travel intention and place attachment among Iranian trekking tourists. The participants of the study were the trekking tourists of Mount Tochal that stayed at least 12 nights a year in this mountain resort. PASS software was used to determine the sample size of the study. Finally, 275 people participated in the present study. The questionnaires of serious leisure, travel intention, and place attachment were used to collect the data. The descriptive and inferential statistical methods were applied to analyze the data. The results showed that serious leisure and place attachment can predict approximately 24% of the changes in travel intention. Therefore, place attachment is one of the important factors to increase the travel intention of individuals for leisure activities.

本研究旨在检验严肃休闲对伊朗徒步游客的旅行意愿和地方依恋的影响。该研究的参与者是每年至少在这个山区度假胜地逗留 12 晚的 Tochal 山徒步游客。PASS 软件用于确定研究的样本量。最后，有 275 人参与了本研究。使用严肃休闲、旅游意愿和地方依恋问卷收集数据。应用描述性和推论性统计方法来分析数据。结果表明，认真的休闲和地方依恋可以预测大约 24% 的旅行意向变化。因此，地方依恋是增加个体休闲活动旅游意愿的重要因素之一。
