Jeffrey A. Marx, independent scholar, is the author of several monographs on American Jewish history including "Jeshurun Grew Fat and Kicked: Another Look at the Touro and Leeser Kansas Colonies," Kansas History 43, no. 1 (2020); and "Eating Up: The Origins of Bagels and Lox," in Leah Hochman, ed., Tastes of Faith: Jewish Eating in the United States (Purdue University Press, 2017). His forthcoming article, "All that is Solid Melts into Smoke," explores Jewish "Firebug Gangs" and "Arson Trusts" at the turn of the nineteenth century.

David Weinfeld is an assistant professor in the department of philosophy and world religions at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ. He received his doctorate in history and Hebrew and Judaic studies from New York University. His first book, An American Friendship: Horace Kallen, Alain Locke, and the Development of Cultural Pluralism, was published in 2022 by Cornell University Press. Prior to coming to Rowan, Dr. Weinfeld was the Harry Lyons Chair of Judaic Studies at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA.

Laura Yares is assistant professor in the department of religious studies at Michigan State University. Her work focuses on religion, gender, and Judaism, with particular interests in Jewish education.

Benjamin Baker is senior lecturer in english at the University of Maryland, College Park. He is the author of Crucial Moments: Twelve Defining Events in Adventist History (Review & Herald Publishing, 2005) and C.D.: The Man Behind the Message (2013).

Gabrielle A. Berlinger is associate professor of American studies and folklore and Tanenbaum Scholar in Jewish History and Culture at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. She studies the nature and significance of vernacular architecture and ritual practice, particularly in contemporary Jewish communities. She is the author of Framing Sukkot: Tradition and Transformation in Jewish Vernacular Architecture (Indiana University Press, 2017).

David G. Dalin, a senior research fellow at Brandeis University, is the author, co-author or editor of twelve books. His most recent book, Jewish Justices of the Supreme Court, from Brandeis to Kagan (Brandeis University Press, 2017), was selected as a finalist for a National Jewish Book Award.

Robert Eisen is professor of religion and Judaic studies at George Washington University. His most recent book is Judaism and Violence: A Historical Analysis with Insights from Social Psychology (Cambridge Univrersity Press, 2021).

Anya Luscombe is associate professor of media at University College Roosevelt (Utrecht University), the Netherlands. She is the co-editor of Eleanor Roosevelt's Views on Diplomacy and Democracy: The Global Citizen (Springer, 2020).

Valeria Navarro-Rosenblatt is adjunct professor at Universidad Diego Portales and Universidad Autonoma de Chile. Her research focuses on Latin American Jewish history, contemporary history, and memory studies.

Dana Y. Rabin is professor of history at the University of Illinois, Champaign Urbana. She is the author of Britain and its Internal Others, 1750-1800: Under Rule of Law and Identity, Crime, and Legal Responsibility in Eighteenth-Century England (Manchester University Press, 2017). Her current project examines Jews, citizenship, and whiteness in eighteenth-century Britain and its empire.

Gerald Sorin is distinguished professor emeritus of American and Jewish studies at SUNY-New Paltz. His most recent book, Howard Fast: Life and Literature in the Left Lane (Indiana University Press, 2012), won a National Jewish Book Award.

Aaron Welt is assistant adjunct professor at Hunter College, CUNY and is currently writing a book on the history of organized crime and American Jewish immigrant capitalism.

Hana Wirth-Nesher is professor emerita of english and American studies at Tel Aviv University. She is the editor of The Cambridge History of Jewish American Literature (Cambridge University Press, 2016).
