Abstract

This paper presents the results of magnetic field measurements for 19 chemically peculiar stars in three open star clusters IC 4756, \(\alpha\) Per, NGC 7092. More than 80 spectra of circularly polarized radiation were obtained with the Main Stellar Spectrograph (MSS) at the 6-m BTA telescope of SAO RAS. It was found that the magnetic field value in these clusters is more than three times less than in the young Orion OB1 association. Apparently, unique conditions developed in this association allowed the generation of super-strong magnetic field during the formation of stars.
