Abstract

Copolymers of maleimide with methyl and allyl methacrylate are obtained using the method of radical bulk copolymerization. It has been found that, regardless of the composition of the initial monomer mixture, copolymerization proceeds to form random copolymers enriched with acrylate monomer units. Maleimide copolymers have high thermal stability up to 320°C.
