In this short note, we present a new class of GAPN power functions of the type $x^{k_2{p}^{2i}+k_1{p}^i+k_0}$ over finite fields ${\mathbb{F}}_{p^n}$ with p odd and $\gcd (n,i)=1$ (up to EA-equivalence).
