Purification of Phenol and Chloroform from Impurity Components by Extractive Rectification

The article is devoted to developing the technology of phenol and chloroform purification from impurity components. Extractive rectification with diethylene glycol is used for isolation of the target component. The selectivity of the separating agent, including at low pressure, is studied. The working parameters of the columns corresponding to minimal energy consumption and providing preparation of commercial quality substances are determined in the calculating experiment.
