All-solid-state batteries (ASSB) have gained significant attention as next-generation battery systems owing to their potential for overcoming the limitations of conventional lithium-ion batteries (LIB) in terms of stability and high energy density. This review presents progress in ASSB research for practical applications. It focuses on membrane production strategies, highlighting the need for considerations such as productivity, cost-effectiveness, and eco-friendliness. Various fabrication techniques aimed at achieving enhanced safety and energy density are introduced. Additionally, this review introduces efforts towards the commercialization of ASSB electrode manufacturing and emerging research trends in the field.
