The cathodic two-electron (2e-) oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) has garnered much attention for electrosynthesis of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). Customized isolated Fe motif for H2O2 electrosynthesis enables high activity, selectivity, and stability. A Concept summarizes the Fe single atom catalysts in 2e- ORR for H2O2 production by introducing their fundamental mechanism, chemical process, experimental advancements, and practical applications.
