ICCU is considered a promising carbon management strategy for CO2 capture and utilization, which could convert captured CO2 into value-added chemicals. The design of DFMs that combine sorption and catalysis is one of the most important factors in the ICCU process. This review starts with an introduction of three solid sorbents with different operating temperatures, and then highlighted the challenges and future development directions of DFM for ICCU-methanation, ICCU-RWGS, ICCU-DRM/DRE/DRP, and ICCU-ODHE/ODHP, respectively.
