Structure and Properties of Polyester Composites with Polymer Silicate Modifier

The effect of metal-containing polymer silicate modifiers on the regularities of hardening and properties of polyester composites was studied. The effect of concentration, method of the modifier component (polyvinyl alcohol and polyvinylpyrrolidone) introduction, as well as the metal nature on the surface characteristics of metal-containing polymer silicate materials, was determined. Intermolecular interactions of active silicate and functional groups of the high-molecular component occur during such materials’ production.
