Over 24 years have gone since Neurotoxicity Research was first published in March 1999. During this entire time, the journal relied on the steady leadership of Prof. Richard Kostrzewa as the Editor-in-Chief. This phenomenal path has led the journal to a prestigious position within all journals in the field of Neurotoxicity. Percipient that Dr. Kostrzewa’s contributions will forever be unmatched for the journal, our current team of editors is committed to keeping a fertile environment for the investigation of classical and novel neurotoxins and mechanisms associated with neurodegeneration, apoptosis, nerve regeneration and neurotrophic actions. Neurotoxicity Research has been a forum for the reporting of astonishing mechanisms that contributed to the understanding of how neural cells function or fail. Fortunately, there is much more to come.
