Abstract
We examine the isotropic and spatially homogeneous FLRW cosmological-like model in the background of f(Q) gravity, say symmetric teleparallel gravity. By considering an interacting modified holographic Ricci dark energy and pressureless ordinary matter, for this purpose, we define a scale factor of the Universe (Akarsu et al. in JCAP 1:22, 2014) as \(a\left( t\right) =a_{0}\left( \frac{t}{t_{0}}\right) ^{k}e^{b\left( \frac{t}{t_{0}}-1\right) }\), where \(a_{0}\) and \(t_{0}\) be the present value of the scale factor and cosmic time. Further, we discuss the evolutionary trajectories of the deceleration parameter, equation of state parameter, and total density parameter in the evolving universe. Interacting fluids such as pressureless ordinary matter and holographic Ricci dark energy have shown their dominance in the present and late times of cosmic evolution. Finally, we have the concluding remarks.
