The original version of this article contained an error in Fig. 2. Figure 2 in the original version shows a comparison of missense mutation sites found between different steroidogenic acute regulatory (STAR) proteins from the indicated species.
The authors correct Fig. 2 as a comparison of the conservation of missense mutation sites discovered between different species of cytochrome P450 family 11 subfamily B member 1 (CYP11B1) proteins. The corrected Fig. 2 is given below.
