Optimization of Fuel Droplet Sputtering and Combustion at High Turbulence Flows

  • Published:
Russian Physics Journal Aims and scope

The paper presents simulation results of octane and dodecane burning at high turbulence flows in a combustion chamber, in which droplets are injected at different initial velocities. The proposed mathematical model describes the burning process. Dependences are suggested for the temperature distribution of the fuel combustion and CO2 concentration at different initial velocities of the droplet injection.
