Preparation of Substituted gem-Dichlorocyclopropanes and 1,3-Dioxacycloalkanes and Their Biological Activity: A Review

Abstract―

This work generalizes methods for preparation of basic platform compounds, namely, hem-dichlorocyclopropanes and 1,3-dioxacycloalkanes with various substituents. On their basis, the synthesis of carbo- and heterocyclic compounds is carried out, which have herbicidal, cytotoxic, anticoagulant and antiaggregation properties and are of interest in terms of creating new pesticides for dicotyledonous and monocotyledonous plants, drugs that prevent blood clotting or inhibit the development of tumor cells.
