研究工作
从事高能天体的物理过程研究，在伽吗射线暴的高能辐射机制、blazar天体喷流的辐射和动力学演化机制、喷流速度结构的辐射效应、喷流中的湍动粒子加速机制、AGN辐射的扩散同步辐射机制、平流吸积盘二维模型构造、blazar天体高能辐射与河外背景辐射、特殊恒星的辐射性质等方面取得研究进展。主持开展天体测量仪器的研制、天体测量技术的应用研究。
近年主持国家基金面上项目四项，参加国家基金重点项目两项，参加国家973项目两项，参加中科院方向性项目两项，主持云南省重大科技专项一项，支持昆明市重大科技专项一项。
主要创新研究有：（1）构造了TeV blazar天体的喷流减速模型和辐射的产生机制；（2）研究了Blazar天体中喷流速度结构的物理效应，发现速度结构对逆Compton辐射有重要影响；（3）研究了blazar天体喷流中随机粒子加速机制的辐射效应，发现随机粒子加速对blazar天体的辐射能谱演化有重要影响；（4）构造了blazar天体高能波段能谱变化的辐射模型，利用观测资料限定辐射区的物理参量；（5）构造了伽吗射线暴的光变曲线演化模型，发现在特定条件下相对电子冷却过程决定光变曲线的演化。（6）提出了活动星系核中节点子源辐射的新机制，即相对论电子在小尺度随机磁场中的同步辐射，发现随机磁场的湍动能谱决定辐射能谱。研究工作特点是分析高能天体的辐射性质、构造理论模型、研究物理过程。
