个人简介

詹肇泰，副教授，获香港中文大学生物学荣誉学士及生物学哲学硕士，香港科技大学生物学博士，美国天普大学（Temple University）博士后研究员，美国三一大学（Trinity University）生物系访问学者，香港中文大学幼儿教育学优异证书；现为北师港浸大环境科学专业课程主任，并任全人教育环境发展中心主任及环境意识课程主任，香港浸会大学-联合国际学院联合研究所博士导师，珠海市观鸟协会名誉会长，中国动物学会鸟类学分会会员，香港观鸟会会员；国际学术期刊《Environment and Ecology Research》（环境与生态研究）、《Journal of Cleaner Production》（清洁生产期刊）同行审稿人、中国香港特区政府环境保护基金国际审评人。詹博士曾任中国香港特别行政区政府渔农自然护理署鸟类保育主管并参与湿地保育工作，香港特区凤园蝴蝶保育区创始人和保护经理区、香港观鸟会燕子研究组创始召集人、香港女青年会继续教育部生态旅游课程荣誉顾问、生境管理和评估顾问，并先后在香港浸会大学和香港公开大学兼任生态保育学、生态旅游和环保意识教学及相关学科的课程篇写工作。具有20多年生态研究与自然保育经验，及超过10年高校教学经验。自1999年以来，担任项目主持人的研究项目超过30余项，总额超过一千二百万元人民币。研究经验包括：物种（雀鸟及蝴蝶）保育管理、生境及保育区管理、生物多样性调查、雀鸟生态研究、海草生态研究、环境生态影响评估、公众环境教育等，已发表学术论文30余篇、书籍8部，并在香港报章发表生态教育专栏文章100余篇。2015年，获广东省教育厅创新强校项目 -《北师港浸大全人教育环境意识課》作为广东省精品资源共享课项目主持人（已结题）。2019/2020年，获广东省教育厅质量工程项目 - 《北师港浸大环境科学专业》作为广东省高等学校特色专业项目主持人。詹博士于2010年加入北师港浸大的环境科学专业。作为一名教师，詹博士致力于创新教学，例如他完成了北师港浸大（中国）和明尼苏达私立大学理事会（美国）提供的教师发展计划，他因电子学习应用而获奖。另一方面，他是一个与三一大学（美国）联合学分跨文化跨学科的体验学习课程 -- “中国的生态与保护” 的重要开发人员和课程导师。詹博士致力于激励学生到世界著名大学攻读硕士或博士学位，如伦敦大学学院（英国）、约翰霍普金斯大学（美国）、密歇根大学（美国）、德克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校（美国）、宾夕法尼亚大学（美国）、加利福尼亚大学圣巴巴拉分校（美国），新加坡国立大学（新加坡）、香港大学（中国）、香港科技大学（中国）等等。 Education Ph.D. in Biology, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology M.Phil. in Biology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong B.Sc. in Biology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong Certificate in Early Childhood Education (Distinction), The Chinese University of Hong Kong Awards and Honors Guangdong Chimelong Animal and Plant Protection Award, Guangdong Society of Zoology, China (2021) DST Award on e-Learning, organized by Division of Science and Technology, BNU-HKBU United International College (2021) The Best Poster Supervisor Award in Environmental Science Programme.
