My lab investigates how Neurotrophic Factors regulate the functional properties of primary sensory neurons of the adult Dorsal Root Ganglion. In particular, we use a variety of techniques to investigate the potentially novel neurotrophic effects on adult DRG neurons of molecules that have trophic effects in other organ/tissue systems.
