研究领域

My research group is developing processes in the areas of electrochemical and photoelectrochemical synthesis as applied to energetic materials, chemical sensor development, carbon dioxide capture and conversion, hydrogen production, and fuel cells. I am also interested in the synthetic chemistry of new and emerging energetic materials, as well as in new spectroscopic techniques and applications for energy and for trace and/or bulk energetic materials detection and identification.

My current research is focused on designing new catalytic materials and development of electrochemical systems for carbon dioxide conversion to useful chemicals and fuel. Along side this, our research group is investigating new electrode and membrane materials for hydrogen production.
