Development of 45 SNP markers in Triplophysa hsutschouensis based on RAD sequencing

Triplophysa hsutschouensis is an endemic species in China, that is mainly distributed in the Hexi Corridor of Gansu Province. Studies on molecular markers in this species are limited. 45 single nucleotide polymorphism markers were developed and characterized in T. hsutschouensis for the first time using restriction site-associated DNA tag sequencing. The minor allele frequency ranged from 0.033 to 0.500, and the observed and expected heterozygosities ranged from 0.067 to 0.600 and 0.066 to 0.508, respectively. The polymorphism information content ranged from 0.062 to 0.375. Among these SNPs, two loci showed significant departures from Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium after Bonferroni correction. The novel polymorphic SNPs will be helpful for further population genetic analysis and natural resource conservation.
