Coefficients of Catalan states of lattice crossing II: Applications of ΘA-state expansions J. Knot Theory Ramif. (IF 0.5) Pub Date : 2024-04-18 Mieczyslaw K. Dabkowski, Cheyu Wu
Plucking polynomial of a plane rooted tree with a delay function α was introduced in 2014 by Przytycki. As shown in this paper, plucking polynomial factors when α satisfies additional conditions. We use this result and ΘA-state expansion introduced in our previous work to derive new properties of coefficients C(A) of Catalan states C resulting from an (m×n)-lattice crossing L(m,n). In particular, we

Milnor’s triple linking number and Gauss diagram formulas of 3-bouquet graphs J. Knot Theory Ramif. (IF 0.5) Pub Date : 2024-04-13 Noboru Ito, Natsumi Oyamaguchi
The space of Gauss diagram formulas that are knot invariants is introduced by Goussarov–Polyak–Viro in 2000; it is extended to nanophrases by Gibson–Ito in 2011. However, known invariants in concrete presentations of Gauss diagram formulas are very limited, even in the one-component case. This paper gives a recipe to obtain explicit forms of Gauss diagram formulas that are invariants of virtual links

On the geometry of two state models for the colored Jones polynomial J. Knot Theory Ramif. (IF 0.5) Pub Date : 2024-04-03 Uwe Kaiser, Rama Mishra

Ann.336 (2006) 867–900]. We use this to

Elementary computation of the Jones polynomials for Torus links modulo primes J. Knot Theory Ramif. (IF 0.5) Pub Date : 2024-03-22 Joonoh Kim, Kyoung-Tark Kim
We present simple congruences modulo p of the Jones polynomial for the torus link T(p,λ), where p is a prime number and λ is a nonzero integer. These congruences are expressed in terms of Chebyshev polynomials and quantum numbers. The approach makes elementary use of the Kauffman bracket and does not require any representation theory.

A heap is a set with a certain ternary operation that is self-distributive and exemplified by a group with the operation (x,y,z)↦xy−1z. We introduce and investigate framed link invariants using heaps. In analogy with the knot group, we define the fundamental heap of framed links using group presentations. The fundamental heap is determined for some classes of links such as certain families of torus
